General Information

Center for Political Technologies (CPT) is one of the oldest independent think-tanks in Russia. The Center's associates constitute a skilled and coherent team working in the areas of political and business consulting.
Dr. Igor Bunin, CPT's founding director leads the team of experienced professionals, whose qualifications combine diverse areas and expertise, including politics, sociology, psychology, public relations, marketing, advertising, etc.

CPT has a permanent staff of 70 people working in 13 departments. It also attracts part-time specialists on project basis from a pool of experienced professionals.

In diverse ratings of companies engaged in political and business consulting and PR CPT has always been rated among the top three or five competitors. It is also known as an analytic think-tank most quoted in the Russian media. As for the team members, five of them are rated in the quarterly "top 100" of political and economic experts.

CPT is a founding member of Association of Political Consulting Centers, Russian Public Policy Center and Foundation for Development of Parliamentarism in Russia. It is also a member of Russian Public Relations Association (RASO).

Since 2002 CPT maintains a unique daily renewable website of analytic comments POLITCOM.RU ( www.politcom.ru ), which boasts an average of 6,000 visitors per day.
